Who we are
Consequencesprogramme Septic is a referral service. We connect homeowners with independent septic and sewer providers. That is all.
We do not pump tanks. We do not fix pipes. The provider does the work.
Why this site exists
Septic and sewer trouble is stressful. It is also confusing. Prices vary. Terms are unclear. Older homes add more unknowns.
So we keep it plain. Answer first. Then the reason.
Our main focus is older houses. Aging tanks, patched pipes and past repairs can hide problems. A good provider asks about age. A good homeowner tells them what they know.
How providers are matched
You describe the problem. We point you to a provider in our network that serves the Oakland area and handles that kind of job.
Fit matters. A tank pumping call is not a sewer line call. We try to send you to the right kind of provider the first time.
Availability differs by provider. Many can respond quickly. Hours vary, so we do not promise times. Request a callback to check provider availability for your address.
What we expect from providers
Providers in our network are independent businesses. We ask them to:
- Explain the problem in plain words
- Give a written quote before work begins
- Be open about what could change the price
- Treat older systems with care
Providers hold their own licenses and insurance where required. Check with any provider you hire. Ask to see proof if you want it.
What we do not do
- We do not do the work.
- We do not set provider prices.
- We do not promise outcomes.
- We do not decide what your insurance covers.
Some policies may cover sudden damage. Check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.
Price talk, kept honest
Costs vary by job. As a rough U.S. guide, a routine tank pumping often runs a few hundred dollars. Repairs and sewer line work can run from hundreds to several thousand. Access, depth, soil, age and local rules all move the number.
So get it in writing. Quote in writing, always.
How we are paid
Providers in our network may pay a referral fee when we connect them with a homeowner. You do not pay us to request an estimate. The price of the job is between you and the provider.
